The island of Puerto Rico has been exploited for its natural resources for decades, and the people have been restricted to high cost imports from the US mainland for most basic food needs. By supporting local organizations engaged in the full life cycle of agriculture, sustainable farming, and food distribution, we are helping to close the gap in fresh food accessibility, empowering woman identifying entrepreneurial leaders, and advancing long term food sovereignty for Puerto Rican families and communities.
